When I graduated with my bachelor's degree in education, I believed I would truly love teaching forever. At the time, I had starry eyes and high hopes that this would be my forever career. Little did I know then, but God had some other plans in store!
Throughout my career, the reality of the unexpected challenges in the classroom struck me to my core. I knew something had to change. Things couldn't continue as they were going. Thus, "Woman on a Mission" was born.
Through a divinely inspired passion for politics that can only be described as a God thing, I found my purpose. I pursued a master's degree in educational law and policy. In my soul, I believe I was put on this earth to make the world of education a better place than how I found it. It has been my mission ever since!
